My goal is to make leather products affordable for everyone. This also applies to products that are sewn by hand and not mass-produced. My products are completely handmade. This means that all manufacturing steps are carried out manually. Each of my products, such as bags, is made from a single piece of leather and sewn by hand. Finally, the edges are polished with the Japanese Tokonole.
I almost exclusively use Veg Tan leather from highly reputable tanneries around the world, which I personally value very highly. Leather from Conciera Walpier, for example, is considered to be one of the best in the world. It is not only tanned with vegetarian extracts, but also dyed with vegetarian extracts. This makes it skin- and nature-friendly. And even if such types of leather are more expensive than conventional chrome leather, I always try to offer the products at reasonable prices.
I want to assure you that I follow a transparent and honest manufacturing ethic in my work. For this reason, under each product information you will also find information about the leather used, the tanning process and the country of manufacture. All the leather I use comes from the EU. Some products are made from the best quality Italian leather, others from equally high quality leather from the Czech Republic and Spain.
Vegetable tanned leather, also known as veg tan leather, is a material produced through a natural tanning process. Compared to traditional chrome leather, veg tan leather offers numerous advantages that make it a preferred choice for high-quality products. Italian veg tan leather in particular is known for its outstanding quality and durability.
A key benefit of Veg Tan leather is its environmental friendliness. The tanning process uses vegetable substances derived from bark, leaves and other plant materials. This is in contrast to chrome leather, which contains chemical substances that are potentially harmful to the environment. Studies show that the use of vegetable tanning agents can reduce environmental impact by up to 70%.
Italian Veg Tan leather is characterized by its high strength and durability. It is known to develop a natural patina over time, which underlines the character and uniqueness of each piece. This property makes it particularly attractive to customers who value durable and stylish accessories. Statistics show that products made of Veg Tan leather can achieve a lifespan of up to 30 years, while chrome leather often only lasts half that time.
Another aspect that makes Veg Tan leather stand out is its breathability. The material allows for better air circulation, making it ideal for making bags and other accessories that are worn frequently. This property helps the leather not only be comfortable to wear, but also maintains its shape and quality over time.
In conclusion, Italian Veg Tan leather is a superior choice compared to traditional chrome leather. The combination of environmental friendliness, durability and aesthetic properties makes it a preferred material for demanding customers. When choosing leather products, the quality of the material used should always be considered to ensure
